Snow in Georgia!!!

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Well I was walking out of class and what did my eyes behold:

Snow at Kennesaw State University

Thats right. That is Kennesaw State University covered in snow. I can’t recall seeing the  campus covered in snow before. It looks pretty sick.

Monter Jam 2007

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Well this is my second time writing this post, the ajax in wordpress took a dive last time I wrote it. Let hope it makes it this time.

Last Saturday, I want to Monster Jam over at the Georgia Dome. Bill took his kids and their friends and I tagged along. I must admit that this was my first time at Monster Jam and it was killer. I snapped a few photos before I was to enthralled with watching to take more. I did manage to take one of Grave Digger, I think that its illegal to go to Monster Jam and not take of picture of him:

Grace Digger Monster Jam 2007

I did not know this before I went but they have sort of a half-time show that they do between Monster Jamming sessions. This was my favorite one of those:

Monster Jam Demolition Durby 2007

For this event they basically were pulling trailers around trying to run into each other’s trailers. That shit was crazy

I know this for sure. I’ll be back next year…

The World Has Gone Crazy

Saturday, January 12th, 2008

I was strolling around Walmart the other day and I saw this:

Cafeine Free Mountian Dew

Do you see what is wrong with this picture? That is caffeine  free mountain dew… Now why would you want to drink Mountain Dew that does not have any Caffeine in it. What a waste..

New Years With The Cows

Saturday, January 5th, 2008

How did you spend your New Years Eve? I spent it with some special friends, these friends:

Eat More Chicken Chick-fli-a-cow Chick-fil-a Bowl

Yep that is a really good friend of mine.

Actually this year was another year that I helped out with the indoor pyro at the Chick-fil-A Bowl. That meant another trip to the top of the Georgia dome. To start off the day on the right footI was told to meet Mark at his house at 6:45AM. Thats right, thats in the morning. Normally I don’t go asleep till 5:00Am so 6:30AM comes really early. I managed to get to sleep some time after 3:00AM, but thats still really not enough sleep. After meeting up with Mark we met, Ken and Neil over at Ricks office and began our trek downtown. After we arrive at the Georgia Dome we begin getting ready. Its not to long before we head up to the catwalk of the Dome. I didn’t manage to grab a shot from the very top (There is just something about holding your new iphone over the edge of the catwalk 300ft about a football game). I did take one from C ring the lowest ring in the dome.

Chick-fil-a Bowl Georgia Dome

Its doesn’t look that high, but go up 2 more levels and the hight really takes its toll. From what I’ve been told, the A-Ring is about 300 ft above the field. That shit is high. Not only did we do stuff from the catwalk. But we were also all over the field doing some ground effects and the like. You can’t get a much better view of the game than from here:

That was pretty much my News Years Eve. I didn’t even realize that it was midnight until is was way past.. How sad it that. O well.
