Georgia - Out of Water!!!!

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

Things are getting a little crazy in Acworth, GA right now.. As it turns out we are running out of water. The govenor has declared a state of emergency for a whole bunch of counties in Georgia. One of the reason for this? Florida is stealing our water, that is right the state of Florida is stealing water from Georgia. Now its a little more complicated than this, as it turns out the Army Core of Engineers controls that damn that is here is Acworth Georgia. The Army Core of Engineers is letting to much water out of the damn allowing it to flow down river to Florida. This would be cool except for the fact that Georgia needs this water. The Amy Core of Engineers is refusing to listen to the Governor and keep the water in Georgia. As as result of this the Governor is threating to call up the National Gard and take control the dam. Now that would be really interesting.. That would really be crazy if that happened.

I propose a better idea. I think the governor should call up the Kennesaw Militia to take care of the problem. Wild Man could lead the charge and this problem would be fixed in a matter of minutes.. Thats just my 2 cents..

Melrose Takes the Win

Friday, October 19th, 2007

I’ve been working fro Melrose Pyrotechnics for quite a few years now. I just received an e-mail from them announcing that they won first place at an international fireworks competition in China. That totally rocks!!! According to the press release they show from 9 floating platforms and 5 aerial shell locations. That is an insane amount of product. I wish I could have been there to see that show it would have been insane!!!

Cali, LA - Fun in the Sun

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Well, another weekend has gone by. This was a pretty cool weekend. I was out in Cali filming the Formula D Finals. Montye and I flew out on Thurs and met up with Joey and Crispin. (Who let us Crash at his Mom’s house). As soon as we landed we made our way  to King Taco, which I must say was quite interesting. But good none the less.  After that we pretty much crashed out.

Friday was like any other day when we are at FD, we get some media passes (using some made skills) and get to work.  There was one huge difference in this Friday, Jones Coffee… All I can say is wow. I hate coffee, but I guess that I have never had good coffee. I’m in love with Jones Coffee. I could drink that stuff everyday. (and we did while in Cali.) Its pretty much just insanely good. If yo live in LA go to Jones today. You will not regret it!!

Saturday went normally, we got some baller footage that should come out looking really cool, plus a couple  good interviews with Chris Forsber. It pretty much awesome.

Then on Sunday we made our way back to Atlanta, I thought that the Atlanta Airport was messed up, LAX is just stupid. Every 10 feet someone asks for your id and boarding pass. Thats justs just crazy and of course Montye got searched by security(must be cause he’s black j/k).  Back in ATL we got back to work at our baller office.

And that was my trip to LA…

I’m sorry that I have no pics but I still don’t have a phone with a good camera, and Joey’s iphone got toasted.

The Death Star Flaw

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Leave it to family guy to find out the reason that there was a flaw in the death Star. There is a video over on gizmodo that shows why those flaws happened. I think that this is a must see for any Star Wars Fan.

Dover - Nacar - Baller

Monday, October 1st, 2007

Last weekend was spend up in Dover, Delaware for the Bush race doing some work… It was pretty crazy. We landed in in Phili and then proceeded to our soon to find out baller hotel. Check out his view:

Dover Downs Hotel

Thats turn 3 at the monster mile. It was like you could reach out and touch the track…

Dover Downs Bush Race

We basically had pit/garage access passes. When the cars pitted you could almost reach out and touch the cars. (If the race official didn’t yell at you. I actually only got yelled at once by the race official something about being in the pits during a cation? )

So thats basically it. Now go read someone else’s blog..
